The Clowns are Back in Charge

Lots 7 & 8 on Clearwater Lake will be listed for sale at $50,000.00 for the pair. That’s less than a half-acre and can’t be built on without significant expense including clearing and filling.
There were five vehicles at the Hall for the ice cream social.
A new member owned website is coming. The domain name hasn’t been decided yet. They are contributors to this site and the .com history site. At least one of them has taken an early certification course so the director certification process will be followed on the new site. The Florida HOA compliant website developed on the .com site and the situation unfolding with respect to the corporate finances will also be handled on the new site.
Four directors have taken the certification course so far. Let’s hope it makes a difference in the governance of this HOA. Since they are not letting it phase in and instead will get certified all at once, that section on the new site will not be needed.

The owner of lot 9 bought lots 7 and 8 for $30,000.
Lot 408 is being bought jointly by the owners of the lots on each side of it for $17,000.

The new website that was coming has been delayed. The Florida HOA compliant website that was developed and tested on the .com site is being used for the new site and more functionality is being added to address ADA considerations (screen readers and etc.) and be multi-lingual. A compliant website that can be hosted for $100 a year is drawing interest along with the ensuing questions on custom changes. They have decided to work with those HOAs at least thru the rest of this year.

The Financial situation that was going to be followed on that site will be added as a section on this site titled “Financials”. It can always be moved to the new site when the situation changes. The members will be interested to know what Treasurer Helen Curtis (with President Weavers’ guidance) is doing. There’s a common thread connecting the Financial and Governing Document irregularities and it’s something we never figured on. Will they ever cease to amaze?
Need another work day for the Swim Area property.
A large biomass has moved in beside the pier.

There were six vehicles at the ice cream social this month. That’s better than the last one with five vehicles. Don’t have a head count but still, 130 plus homes in here and no parking problem?
